Fermentation-enabled Bio-Protection secures Chr. Hansen Innovation Award

Next-generation FRESHQ® wins the prestigious “Food Tech Innovation Award” at the world’s largest food & beverage event.

A leading panel of industry experts selected Chr. Hansen’s FRESHQ® concept at this year’s prize-giving at Food Ingredients Europe in Frankfurt, Germany. The award is presented to a company that is breaking new ground in the food and beverage industry with an innovative, technical solution. Chr. Hansen’s next-generation FRESHQ® food cultures hit the bull’s eye in that context, removing the main technical barrier for the implementation of fermentation-enabled bio-protection to help reduce food waste.

After proudly accepting the award Marianne Gregersen, commercial development manager, Chr.
